Having spent 20+ years performing in theatre, it dawned on me that I was always the first person in the dressing room each night. I was spending nearly two hours applying makeup! I love the whole ritual of the transformation. I began to wonder where my skills and love for all things makeup could take me.

In 2003 I attended the Blanche MacDonald Centre for Applied Design in Vancouver, BC, earning a diploma in Makeup Artistry. Of all the areas that were covered, my favorites ended up being Special FX and Period Makeup.  Period Makeup has consequently become one of my specialties and my greatest loves. Hairstyling was a natural addition to my skill set and has consequently made my body of work more cohesive. There is (almost) no project I would turn down. Some of my proudest moments have come from the quirkiest situations. Um, actually, this applies to many areas of my life!

I moved to Atlanta from Olympia, WA in July of 2006 along with 2 cats and one sweetheart and have been lucky enough to be doing what I love this whole time.
